Back pain would be Ankylosing Spondyilitis

Ankylosing spondylitis is a rheumatic disease that affects the joints between the vertebrae of the spine. It causes pain and stiffness in different parts of the body as the back, neck, hips, jaw and some people burning eyes and heart valves and is the damage to the spinal cord.

The symptoms of ankylosing Spondlitis:

• chronic considered to relieve symptoms
• inflammation of the eyes
• Fatigue
• heel pain
• Pain and stiffness
• Joint pain and swelling of the joint shoulders, knees and ankles
• Limited expansion of the chest
• limited number of movement, particularly involving the spine and hips
• Lower back pain is worse than the night, morning or after a period of inactivity
• Loss of appetite
• The pain in the neck
• slight fever
• rigidity and lack of movement in the lower back
• Weight loss

The risk factors that predispose a person with ankylosing spondylitis include:

• Testing positive for HLA-B27 marker
• A family history of AS
• frequent gastrointestinal infections

Treatment of ankylosing Spondlitis:

May doctors prescribe anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) to reduce inflammation and pain. Treatment with corticosteroids or drugs to suppress the immune system in May also be prescribed. Drugs called TNF inhibitors, which block an inflammatory protein, it has been shown to improve the symptoms of ankylosing spondylitis.Some medical drugs (medications that block cell growth) in people who do not properly corticosteroid or defendants are on high doses of corticosteroids.

Surgery is done if the pain or the damage is severe.

Ankylosing spondylitis is a chronic disease. Also called spondylitis spondylitis or rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis affects about 129 per 100,000 people in the United States. Ankylosing spondylitis affects males more commonly 2-3 times more females.
